The Missouri Public Service Commission is seeking to fill a Manager position in our Jefferson City office.  This is a high-level professional and administrative position that requires frequent interaction with senior management and the Commission. 

 

Duties include identifying rate making and economic policy issues within the electric utility industry, working with senior technical staff to formulate research strategies, developing appropriate analytical methods and designing specific projects to address ratemaking and policy issues and guiding departmental activities to address these issues.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in economics or related field with an emphasis on economic analysis and five years of professional experience performing economic analyses in a regulatory or utility environment; including one year in a supervisory capacity required, three or more years preferred.  Administrative experience preferred.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills and computer proficiency also required.
