FY-10-36 -- MEDIA ADVISORY Water And Sewer Rate Cases Withdrawn
JEFFERSON CITY—The Missouri Public Service Commission has closed water and sewer rate increase cases filed by Port Perry Service Company after the company filed a request to withdraw the cases.
Port Perry Service Company filed water and sewer rate increase requests with the Missouri Public Service Commission on February 17, 2009. The company sought to increase annual water operating revenues by approximately $6,000 and annual sewer operating revenues by approximately $17,000.
For a residential customer using 6,000 gallons of water a month, the company was seeking to increase the monthly water bill from $27.55 to $30.25. In the sewer rate request, the company was seeking to increase the monthly flat rate sewer bill for a full-time residential customer from $18.94 to $27.50 and from $14.21 to $20.60 for a part-time residential customer.
Port Perry Service Company serves approximately 267 water customers and 107 sewer customers in Perry County near Perryville, Missouri.
